Spring Hill currently has 13 public schools serving it's students with four of the schools serving the Maury County side of the city. ColumbiaTennessee is located approximately 45 miles south of Nashville and is located just off of I-65 and offers easy access to Hwy 31 and I-840 as well. Columbia is a growing community with a 2008 population of just over 34,000 residents living on just over 29 square miles. Columbia currently has 10 public schools serving it's students. The median income for Columbia households is just under $36,000 USD as of 2000 census compared with an average of just over $38,000 USD for the State of Tennessee.
